The Daultons first contacted me in September of 2009 after reading a feature article in "Decatur Living" which showcased the Arts and Crafts Elias Cottage built in 08. In October, the Daultons asked me to begin looking for a lot in the Village area of Oakhurst, and they subsequently purchased one of the Agnes Scott properties. Interestingly enough, when realtor Jim Jarboe initially approached the College about listing the property, they didn't realize they owned it. After some research, Jim assured them that they did indeed own the lot and they agreed to sale the property. On November 6th we met at Leon's and signed a contract for a design/build residence . Over the past couple of months, we have been progressing through the design process and have arrived at the Tudor design shown in the elevation above.
